The Pool

I don't remember the last time we had a blog post with only two pictures!  We went swimming with our friends yesterday at their neighborhood pool.  We had such fun!  It was great!
Cole would not let go of this "fish" thing that was in the pool.  He was so upset when we had to leave.

The Park

Cole playing at the park in Tulsa.  He had fun and I scouted out spots for a phto shoot.
Watching his shadow.
Swings!
Slide.
He loves twisty slides.
A squirrel...it got chased by Cole.
Just outside of Hancock Fabrics.
The next day in the same part while waiting for our photo shoot.  He's making his weird face where he curls his tongue and makes all sorts of funny noises.
Up the ramp!
Down the slide.

Cole's First MLB Game - Texas Rangers Vs. Chicago Cubs

Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.  We sat about 10 rows from the highest point in the stadium.  We were above the foul poles.  You can see it at level in the above picture.  At first it kind of freaked me out (and I am not afraid of heights...I think it was more having a toddler so high), but I adjusted within 20 minutes and it wasn't so bad.  It's actually a really good vantage point to watch a game.
Cole did so well.  Here he is playing with his cars just as the game started.
Flirting with the ladies behind us.
We walked the ramp from our seats down to he main concourse.  He loved it!  I am not sure what this pose was.
And he's off!
Looking over at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.
Another view from our seats.
Watching the game with Daddy.
Once we got 3/4 of a personal pizza in him it was easy sailing.  While buying the pizza it was not so easy!  And finding the pizza was near impossible, but we are glad we did!
The Rangers lost by 1 in the 10th inning.  It was a good game despite the loss.
I took Cole down to the New Era Cap Corner and found a Rangers hat for him (he is wearing it and clapping for the Rangers).  While we were in the store he smiled at the security guard and was very friendly.  The security guard came up and gave him a used practice baseball.  It was so sweet!  I thanked him several times for being so nice.  A real played with MLB practice ball!  Awesome!
Subdued after all the excitement and pizza.
This morning he thought the mirror in the hotel room was hilarious.  I captured a few pics.  This is my favorite!  Dallas was fun, but no place I'd want to live.  Too much traffic!  It was befuddling watching Jonathan maneuver through it and I was so glad I wasn't driving!

The Weekend

Saturday we went and helped celebrate Jackson turning 2.  He turns 2 tomorrow: Jonathan's brother's birthdate.
Jackson got a tricycle.  Cole just had to check it out.
Cole found a golf bag in Jackson's toy bin.
Some of the kids at the party.
Sunday evening we went and had dinner with our friends, the Keens.  Here is him and Kolbi playing football with Jonathan and Cary.
Hike!
Handoff!
*Tweet!*  Biting Infraction!  15 Yards!
Cole and Kolbi goofing around.

Cole and Kolbi

We have had nearly weekly playdates with Kolbi, Callie, and Lisa Keen.  Kolbi and Cole play the most together since Callie isn't walking yet (but she is swiftly working on it) and Lisa and I chat and make sure they share:).
I love pictures like this...too bad it was kind of dark.  His eyes are so neat!
Kolbi is so funny!
Here they are practicing jumping.  Cole would only get one leg up off the ground.  They had a lot of fun!
Kolbi was taking her shoes off to show Cole.
Cole holding some spoons.  Funny expression.
Every time they fight over the swing.  Usually the one who doesn't get to go first doesn't whine too much.  They are both really good kids.
Kolbi introduced Cole to ring around the rosy.

Another round of ring around the rosy.

Forte's Visit Jenks: Day 4

On Monday the Forte's gave me a morning off and they took Cole to a conservatory in Tulsa.  It had a bunch of birds and things.  Cole loves birds.  After that they took him to Chick-Fil-A and all and all they had a blast.  They even went to Toys R Us and got Cole a Corvette (Matchbox car).  I shopped and found a pair of jeans and a few tops.
This is the shirt Granny got Cole.  What a sweet picture of them!

Another shot.  Cole would not take the matchbox cars (the new matchbox car is on bottom) out of his hands or move them in any way.
Reading to Cole at night after the sever weather passed.  Not sure why he has two sippy cups:).  Sometimes he just likes to have little collections of things.  It is interesting to watch him group his things.  The Forte's went home on the next day.

Forte's Visit Jenks: Day 3

Mother's Day.  We did a family picture.
4 Generations.
Just our family.
Cutie.
With Grandma and Pop Pop.
Giving Granny a look!
Sweet picture.
Handing us flowers we got from church fo Mother's Day.
Jumping on Pop Pop..it's become a favorite thing as of late.  He does it to Jonathan, too, and I am told it is quite uncomfortable.
And here come Maude wearing a pearl necklace and pushing a shopping cart.
Checking out his necklace in the mirror.
Reading with Grandma.
Night time reading.
