Cole loves pushing a stroller around the airport. It's his favorite thing to do! He was a trooper through the flights. He didn't sleep as I thought he would, so that was a bummer, but he was good and played with his Thomas Take-N-Go set. If you have a Thomas fan I highly recommend getting one of these little things and bringing some trains on a plane trip. He just went round and round in a circle on the play set with the trains. He did it on the way to Ohio and the way back. But in the airport we burned energy by strolling.
My parents have a Mickey Mouse phone and Cole loves it. This time he pretended to talk on it!
Yes, my Mom is making a silly face in here. They are both doing it. They were making some sound and being silly.
Cole played harmonica for us several times. Santa may just have to put one in his stocking this year.
Cole was also introduced to Oreo cookies. He had one once before. But, with milk he loved them!
Both Grandfathers got out Lionel O-Gauge train sets to play with. Cole was spellbound, but he did want to take them off the track to play with.
Uncle Chris working the power transformer while Cole holds the switch. We had gone to the nursing home to visit my Grandmother whom we were referring to as "Gi-Gi" but it was not a good photo op. She had curlers in her hair and was looking kind of yellow, so we just visited while she got her perm at the beauty shop.
Friday morning my Dad and I went downtown into Cleveland to the Probate Court House and the Cleveland Public Library. It was for genealogy. I got a bunch of stuff and we hit the book sale at the CPL. A whole bag for 4 dollars! Now, how to get them home:). We went to Panini's for lunch. It was delicious! Had I known we were going to park right next to Cleveland Browns Stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at this angle, I would have brought the good camera. Oh well!
Fall colors were still very pretty, but it was a bit past peak.
Friday afternoon my Aunt, Cousin, and her two children came over to visit and get genealogy stuff. My Mom and I had scanned in my whole book and it took 4 hours on Thursday while Cole napped. It was crazy. Cole enjoyed Josh and Emily a lot! It was different for him to be around bigger kids!
They mainly played with the slide and the cars down the piece of plastic my Dad gave Cole on Thursday night. These babies make AWESOME ramps. My brother and I used to use them all the time as kids.
I liked this one of Josh (10) and Cole. It contrasts their ages, but they were both focused on the task at hand.
It was nice to see Cole old enough to interact with my cousin's children. Very neat!

We carved a pumpkin on Friday night. Cole was very interested, as can be seen in the first photo. We turned on The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown for Cole and didn't move an inch. So, I let him touch the pumpkin pulp. He wasn't a fan. So, my Mom and I finished carving.
Saturday morning my friend, Mary, came over with her little girl. I know I have mentioned Mary before, but it is so neat. We have been friends since we were 7. 7! We are both approaching 30. That is 23 years of friendship right there! It's so great that our kids are close in age, too! It didn't seem like it last year at this time since they are 10 months apart, but now it is a huge joy to watch them play together.
Grandpa came up the driveway in the truck and offered to give Cole a quick ride. I think they went all of 50 feet on the driveway that goes from my parents house to their big barns that store my Dad's work supplies, but Cole had fun!

My Mom really just having fun playing with the kids. They were bouncing on the yoga ball here. Cole's look cracks me up. The corners of his eyes. He also climbed up on her back to bounce, but she said she didn't yell for us to come (we had walked out to check out our photo-loot on the PC) because she was afraid it would scare Cole.
