Ohio Trip: Hinckley Day 3 B.A. Sweetie's and fun outside

We went to B.A. Sweetie's on Friday with Grandpa and Grandma.  B.A. Sweetie's is a candy store.  It has ALL kinds of candy.  Vintage candy, modern candy; you name it, they have it!
 Pez.
 Cars Pez.
Lollipops the size of a small child's head.
 Chewy Candy.
BOSCO (for all you Seinfeld fans)!
 Marshmallow "ice cream" cones.
Yes, my friends, Rusty Wallace Pez dispensers.
And when we got home he ate a huge lunch chased with Oreo cookies that Uncle Chris showed him how to open up and eat frosting side up...lovely.
Riding in my parent's neighbor's golf cart after naptime.

Did I mention that Cole loved petting dogs?
Love his eyes!

Puddle Jumper

Jonathan saw these and called Cole the puddle jumper.  I thought it was definitely a perfect description.
I told him he could splash in the puddles when we got home one day.  He took full advantage.

Ohio Trip: Hinckley Days 1 and 2

 Looking for rocks.

Snuggling Grandma and watching Mickey Mouse.
Cole got a lot closer to the dogs this visit.  He always asked about them and wanted to pet them all the time.  Bear is not a big fan of little kids so we had to watch.
She did ok with him, though.
 We went to the park.

One of my favorite pictures of Cole with Grandma.

 Mr. Attitude.

 Cole flying his first kite.
Mommy, come here and hold it!  I don't want to!

Playing Grandpa's keyboard. I love this thing as much as he does!
Cole was obsessed with the carousel that is Grandma's.  He wanted to hold and look at the porcelain animals all the time.  We ended up having to hide it from plain site.
 Grandma's spaghetti. Yum!

Easter Post

A few nights ago Daddy and Cole were reading and Daddy was laying on his stomach and so did Cole.  We didn't have the camera for the moment, but just Cole laying on his belly and reading is adorable.
Cole is at the age of the cheesy smile.  If I can get one out of him this is what it looks like.  We colored eggs Friday night.

Saturday was our church Easter egg hunt.

The Easter bunny left some goodies for Cole.  Mostly candies from BA Sweeties in Cleveland (post coming soon) but some toys.

Did anyone else have chocolate "Ice Cube" pieces as a kid?  We did.  You put them in the freezer/fridge and they are very tasty chocolate.
Cole wasn't going to wait for them to get cold, though.

 Us on Easter.
My lamb cake.  I am not a good cake decorator!:)
