Circleville, Ohio: Final Post

I love lilies!  My Mother in Law has some pretty flowers growing in her back yard!

Cole loved his birthday party balloons...a lot!  He took them to the park with us!

I made these shorts from a pair of mens pajama pants. Very light and summery!  We tried to get some 3 yar portraits, but Cole wasn't entirely cooperative.
But we got some cute shots anyway!

Ohio Day 1: Circleville

I suppose this is actually day 2, but day 1 was spent entirely driving and wasn't much to write about.  Very uneventful, which is a great thing.  The day after we got to Circleville was Saturday and we went to Slate Run where they have a working historical farm.  Cole was checking out the chickens above.
Daffodils are showing us that spring is coming soon.
Playing with an old school marble game.  He loves it!
 A lot!
Running from the barn down a "big hill".
 Freshly born lamb.
 Pumping water with Daddy.
Playing at the Slate Run park.
All smiles for Pop Pop and Grandma.
Looking through the rails to see if there are any fish.
At home watching Charlie and Lola with everyone.
Snuggling Grandma.

Forte Visit - Part 2

Snuggled up with Mommy practicing drinking from a water bottle and watching Sunday night Football.
After the water practice we took of the wet shirt and had a little diaper boy running around.
Had to keep him warm since we stripped him down after the water was all over him.
 Mommy Kisses.
We went to the mall on New Years Day.  Pop Pop and Cole were watching the carousel.
Watching carousel.  He was so zonked!
 Showing off his shark slippers.
Playing and matching up his construction cars to the pages in the book.
Introduction to his play dough toys.  He enjoyed it.  I love this picture!  It really just tells the story very well!

Pop Pop and Grandma Visit!

 They read books.
We ate Ted's and kept Cole busy wearing sunglasses.
He liked to wear them like this.
 We played airplanes.
Cole concentrated a lot on his planes.
 And played with Pop Pop.
 We opened presents.
Cole got a quilted play mat roadway to play cars on.
Cole got a neat construction vehicle book.  He really loves the roadway blanket especially.  He plays with it all the time.

Circleville, Ohio - More Fun!

The Fortes met up with us on Monday in Mansfield Ohio and we went with them to their house.  We stopped at these trains on the way down.
We checked out the inside of one that is being refurbished into a bed and breakfast.
We came home and ate and Cole watched a movie with Granny before bed.

We went hiking the next day at the park by the Forte household.  It is a very nice park and brand new.
 Cole exploring nature.
Grandma showing him the hole in the tree.
There is a really nice playground at the park, too.  Here is Cole and Pop Pop playing the drums.
 Sliding!
The next day we went to look at a plane and a canon.  Here is the portrait we took there!
 After Cole's nap.
We went to Uncle Matthew and Aunt Krista's house that night.  There Cole got a piano lesson.

He thought he was Ray Charles.

We went and visited friends and then went back over to the park the next day.
 Cole enjoyed several cookies.
Thursdays, Grandma works at the Genealogy Library as a volunteer.  We went to pick her up.  There was a fun green wall on the one side of the building.

We played outside as we waited for pizza on Thursday.

The neighbors had a huge pile of leaves in their front yard for pickup.  Awesome!

We finished watching the Polar Express with Uncle Matthew and Aunt Krista.
Friday we went to the Children's Museum (A-Ha is the name of it).  Cole played with trains.
 Fished with Pop Pop.
 Played in sand with Grandma.
 Played with balls.
 Went "shopping".
 And played in the water.
He kicked and screamed and thrashed when it was time to go.
He drove his cookies around like they were toys before dipping them in milk.
Our flight was delayed at Columbus so the Forte's and Uncle Tom and Aunt Miriam kept us company before going through security.  Thanks for the cookies, Uncle Tom and Aunt Miriam (Cheryl & Co cookies).
Cole enjoyed a Key Lime and a Lemon.  Who would have thought!
