A Few More for Grandparents - 48 Weeks

Here are a few more pics of Cole from today. He was cheerier.

11 Months!

Cole Magnum, P.I.
At Your Service.
Where is Higgins?
Just keep those doberman's away!
Um, my shorts need to be shorter...
Just got back from a chopper ride with T.C., so my eyes are a little red (or I could be tired).
Cole is 11 months! The day passed yesterday without me realizing it until he was in bed. It was a very busy day trying to unpack from the trip and doing many other things that absolutely had to be done yesterday. So, I took pictures today and Cole He was not his cheery self being tired (ironically sleeping in until 9 and still tired). I may try for some more photos when he wakes.
Cole at 11 months can sit, scoot on his bottom, semi-crawl (but this is very rare now that he can sit when he wants and he mainly just scoots). He can feed himself an entire meal off a plate and I think we have come to an understanding that dropping his food must mean he is finished eating because he doesn't attempt it until he is good and full now. He can eat blueberries (halved), beans, mac and cheese, canned veggies (still can't seem to make fresh and frozen soft enough), anything we eat that is ground up, etc. He likes feeding himself, but still is fine with us doing it which is good when we want less messy results:). He is very interested in furniture with knobs and it is probably not too long that he will try to pull up on it. He is starting to like books more and seems to like smaller toys over larger ones. He is just such a joy! He is learning every day and it is so fun that he can understand us and respond. Toddlerhood, with its many frustrations, will be great for us to begin knowing our little boy's personality more. So fun!

Circleville...Get Ready for Many Pictures!

At the Airport. He took a little nap.
On the plane he did not take a nap. He fussed a little, but mainly just played in the seat next to me the whole flight.
He learned a new trick the day we got to Circleville...how to sit up in his crib. Unfortunately he did not learn how to lay back down and that caused some problems. We are on our way there, though, now that we are home.
At Captain D's on Thursday with Grandma and Pop-Pop. These got out of order. He ate a ton while we were there...look at the bulging tummy.
Reading a book with Granny.
At the Franklin Park Conservatory on Wednesday with Grandma and Pop-pop. It was really hot in there!!!
But they had Chihuly glass. It was beautiful. They were installing it when we were there.
Cole tried to touch a butterfly.
Mommy and Me.
After the conservatory cooling off in the pool. Pop-Pop poured water down and Cole thought it was fun.
Uncle Matthew feeding Cole dinner.
Pop-Pop's 'Vette.
My parents came down for a day. Here's Grandma giving Cole some lemonade.
My brother came, too, and brought some very weird ice cream from Jeni's in Columbus, OH. I tried all of them. I think I would pass on the Thai Chili and the Chocolate Cayenne, but other than that they were pretty good. Check out the website. You won't believe the flavors.
Grandma playing with Cole.
Cole trying one of the ice cream's Uncle Chris brought.
Yum.
Whiffle Ball. It is a favorite pasttime of my in-laws backyard.
Jonathan and his Dad.
My Dad and Chris.
Cole feeding Chris a whiffle ball.
Grandma wouldn't take her eyes off Cole.

See what I mean about not taking her eyes off him?
Aunt Krista feeding Cole puffs to keep him satisfied while we completed....
Pavers.
Funny boy.Cole loving on everyone, including Aunt Miriam whom he hadn't seen since he was 3 months old (thought I think he hasn't seen Uncle Matthew and Aunt Krista since then, either...he loves everyone).
Loving on Pop-pop.

My studly husband playing cornhole with his brother. He's so handsome!

Um, I am the worst cornhole player in history. But, I had fun.

Matthew with his beautiful bride, Krista!
It was fun. Jonathan's Dad even went out and got me Superman ice cream. He was going to drive all the way to Lancaster (half hour) to do so, but Krista found a place in Circleville! My hips will send me the bill later, but it was really good:). Here is Cole sitting up!
