Blue Bell Tour, flubber, goodbye to friends, and more

We took a tour of the Blue Bell ice cream factory in broken arrow with a group of homeschoolers two Fridays ago.  It was really fun!  The best part for the kids was the ice cream at the end.
We made flubber for school.  Just for fun.
We went to the aquarium for the octopus unit.  We did see the octopuses they hve there, but not the giant pacific one yet.  Here is cole with a dusky shark jaw.
We said goodbye to our sweet friends as they move on to Golden, CO.  We will miss them greatly.

I made some other shirts for Cole.

Cole's 1st Oklahoma City Zoo Trip

 Baby Giraffe.  Born Feb 2012.
My friend, Elizabeth's, son Hayden.  He's adorable:).  We haven't seen them for quite a while!
These boys were all born within 3 months of each other.  Cole is the oldest and then Hayden less than 2 weeks later.  Blake is a few months younger.
All the moms with their boys.  Me playing with my remote.
Another shot of all 6 of us!
 Aren't they sweet!?

I love these grizzlies.  I could watch them for hours!

Tulsa Zoo with Friends!

Our friends: Owen, Kenna, and Kate.  They are a wonderful family!!!!
Watching the new sea lions at the Tulsa Zoo.
You can just tell they love it!
Hugs for his sweet Kate.  Such sweet friends.
The best thing to do after a day walking around the zoo?  Why jump on the back of your trusty Siberian Sentinel steed, of course!  I have a few more images to add soon!  Hope you enjoyed!  It was a lovely day and we didn't even see everything at the zoo, but the kids had a blast and that is what matters!

Visit to Carthage (MO)

Yesterday was went up to Carthage, MO to visit some of our best friends, Matt, Holly, and Sadie Brock.  They were there (just two hours away) for Christmas at Holly's parents.  We booked a flight to visit them in FL for February and it will be a lot of fun!  Cole and Sadie got along together well and that was great!  She was patient with him and she has some experience in that department since her cousin is his age.
We played hide-and-seek.  Cole wasn't completely grasping the concept!  But they had fun anyway and we pretended like we didn't know where they were.
They played Memory on the Kindle Fire.  Sadie really was patient with him here...they had fun, though!

A Walk in the Park

The sky would be white in these if not for my circular polarizer.  Cool stuff!

The tree has a GIANT hole in it!
She fell out of the tree.  Cole wanted to make her feel better.

This is Cole and his friend, Reese, playing at the park.  Reese's mother is my friend and we went around taking pictures of them being cute and of the fall foliage.  It was so nice we had a little snacknic on our blanket.  The kids were running from flower to flower at the end pretending to sneeze and laughing hysterically.  It is so fun to watch Cole with friends.  There are certain friends he really clicks with and Reese is one of them.
