Circleville: Post 2 (Finally)

Crazy that this was nearly a month ago.  Cole ate strawberries every day on the front porch of Pop Pop and Grandma's house for breakfast.  Toast a few days, too.

We went to the library and Cole got a shell book.  He was set for the rest of the trip.
Cole played in the water that afternoon.  He had a blast and it was pretty warm out!

Seeing Aunt Krista...Cole really loved her this time...it was so cute!

Granny got him a golf set.  I hope we can get it home in our fall visit because he loved it.  Now he has 2 golf sets...one real and one plastic.

 Loving Uncle Matthew.
Throwing grass.  I always see a Star Wars scene when I look at this shot, though.
Awww!  Uncle Matthew and Aunt Krista.
Splash pad the next day!   Cole met Aunt Krista's other niece and nephews.  They didn't really play together, but it was neat to have all the kiddos in one spot.
Cole with his two great grandmothers on Daddy's side.
 We had a little party.
I love that he can blow out candles!
 Reading a book with Nana.

 Hugs for Granny.

 Some presents!

 Kisses all around!
Squirt guns from Pop Pop and Grandma...he loved them as you can see.
Cole, Pop Pop, and Pop Pop's mother, Nana.
Cole's fishing wall hanging from Granny.
Packing heat..or water.

Cole is 3! Happy Birthday, Cole!

Yesterday was FAR too busy trying to have fun with Cole and prep for his party so I did not even look at the computer the whole day.  That is quite a feat.  At the beginning of this week we had a lot of busy times with potty training and playdates...splash pad with friends on Tuesday above.  So, now that I have a moment since the party is over and the little boy is sleeping (or he was a minute ago...haha)...
Three years ago we didn't really know what unconditional love was.  We didn't know how selfish we were.  We didn't know what vuh-vuhs were.  We had never read Goodnight Moon. (picture yesterday at another splash pad for his birthday)
We had never really waited and watched another person go through their "firsts".  We had never truly known overwhelming joy.  A giggle had never softened our hearts or sounded so good to our ears. (last night with Daddy)
We may have seen the joy of a child, but it never meant the same now that we have you.
We had never known so many things.  We are so glad we now know these things and we keep learning from you every day.  We love you more than anything, Cole!  We look forward to seeing you grow and develop this next year!

Cole is nearing 3!

I wanted to get some images of Cole for his birthday announcements/invitations.
Our friend, Kenna, is taking our family pictures this Sunday, but I was hoping to get some of Cole that were "my" pictures so I could use them for business cards.  These came out pretty well, but we may need to have another informal "shoot".

This "pose" is my favorite, though.  Shows his natural smile, etc.
 Artsy shot.
 Cole's fake smile.  Awesome.
