Happy Boy once again!

After the past month of things being more on the unhappy side around here it is so nice to have a happy boy again.  Here he is with his harmonica and my new lip gloss...don't use them together unless you want to play really fast!

Clive Cussler shares an image of Cole

I took the picture of Cole (tiny picture of boy looking at a book) a while ago (like winter/spring), but he does this ALL the time.  And he only takes Clive Cussler's books off the shelves.  Probably because they have all things he loves on the cover.  Sharks, trains, planes, etc.  But, Mr. Cussler apparently liked the picture so much that he shared it on his facebook page.  We just think it is awesome because Mr. Cussler is our favorite author!!  So neat! Mr. Cussler also commented on a picture of Cole when he was about 11 months old, too, which was neat in itself, but this is even cooler!

Hanging Out by the "Pool"

Just a little picture for the grandparents.  Cole has been sick this week.  It is one of the worst colds he has ever had, so I thought I would put up a picture of happier times...Monday:).

 Does anyone else think it's funny that this shirt says "true blue" and yet has no blue on it?  He loves his "Pedo Fish" (torpedo fish).  Can you tell?

 I got a new lens.  I love it.  I was testing it on him.  I think I can be 6 inches away from something and it still focuses even though it isn't a macro.  And it has a zoom and gets nice blur in the background (called 'bokeh' in my field).

Cole and my Birthday Week!

 We had two splash park play dates on the week preceding Cole's birthday.  Isn't this little boy precious?  He is a friend's son!  I love his eyes!

 Cole, Jackson, and Kaeden.  They are 2 months apart.  Jackson and Kaeden are May birthdays.

 On Cole's actual birthday we went to a different splash pad with different friends.  He had similar fun:).  I love this picture!
