Looking So Sleepy

The Funny Fat Frog, Winkin' and a Blinkin', Lookin' So Sleepy
Sitting' and Thinkin'
 Then, all of a sudden,
He JUMPS!

The top pictures are of Cole's "Lookin' so Sleepy" face that he makes when he hears this funny fat frog song.  He can now leave the Earth with both feet at the same time!  What an accomplishment!:)

Mr. Clean (again) and King Tut the Banker

Cole cleaning a spot in the carpet.
Cole loves hunting for spots in the carpeting and cleaning them.  He cries when I put away the cleaner.
Cole also loves playing with piggy banks.  He tried to put one in his mouth for the first time tonight, but he got in trouble.  I don't think he will try it for a while...besides I think he tasted it.  Here he is with his McDonalds crown he got at Kolbi's party.
Playing with piggy banks is another thing that he will do forever and will cry if you take them away.

More Manual Pics

Cole is wearing his shark slippers.  I think he likes them!
Today Callie came over to play without her older sister Kolbi who will be 3 on Friday.  Cole shared with her and was so good to her.  I was proud of how he acted toward a littler kid!
Cole chilling on the chair outside with his Lightning McQueens.
 His "Mooo" face.
Callie laid down on the ground...What a perfect pose!  And she's only 1!

Dole and Due (The Words "Cole" and "Two")

Cole says his name and his age in this short clip.  We are so proud of him!  He's made a lot of progress in speech in a short time!

Full Manual and the Crazy Little Hooligans!

I finally forced myself to step out on a limb and stop taking pictures in auto and actually learn my camera better.
I am glad I did.  I like these pics and I am sure they are only the beginning of better photography from me.
Cole is saying "Neigh Neigh".
Playing outside today.
Look at the plane!
We had our Sunday School class Ice Cream Social on Saturday at the Keens house.  The kids were all fired up.  Avery (front) is the oldest kid of all of our kids.  She was the leader.  Cole actually would participate and then come to me either crying or wanting me to pick him up...how un-Cole.
After the rumpus, we all went outside to let the kids swim.  Two 3-yr-old girls and Two-yr old boys!
Silly grins!
Such buddies!
I just love their expressions...trying to figrue out what the older girls are up to!
The girls are gone!  We shall do our thing!
5 kids...one small pool.  It is so funny.  Look at Cole's expression.  He was just in a funky mood! Funny boy!

Mr. Clean and The Bucket Hat

Cole loves for me to spray carpet/upholstery cleaner on things so he can help me wipe them down.  Is he a man after his Father's own heart or what!?
I just love that he is finally letting me put the bucket hat on him!
We call it his swimming hat.  He was spaced out in these pictures watching the Leapfrog Lettery Factory DVD.
My little cutie!  The past few days he has started saying, "Dadda, Momma, Dole (Cole)".  SO adorable!

Swimming at the Summerlins!

This morning we got ready, set, went to the Summerlins! Cole had on his shades, but then opted for the hat.  Both of them clearly were not the fashion statement he wanted to convey.
Sunscreen, check, swimsuit, check, hat, check, duckies, check!
This is just the beginning, my handsome boy, of waiting for the ladies to get ready.
Tessa on her noodle.
Sharing....
...Means...
...Caring...
I know, I know, the sign says there is no drinking in the pool area, but we snuck the kids juice boxes anyway!
Cole's hat got much darker?  How?  His crazy mother running him under all of the splash things in the pool.
Thanks, Mom!
When we got home, Cole showed off his reading prowess but reading the letter "O", "R", and "S" out of a book.  He can verbalize the O and R now.  The S has yet to be heard, but he can point them out for you!  yes, he is a bit young for chapter books.  He only likes them for their jackets...dust jackets!

Cole's Big Boy Quilt

After MANY hours, Cole's big boy quilt is complete.  The binding (edge) took forever since I hand stitched it.
I kept the jeans pockets open.  The dark wash jeans are from an old pair of my overalls.  The light wash were Jonathans.  My mother contributed the dark fabric with lines in it.
Now I only have to make 2 shams, wall art, and his growth chart.  Oh, and find, print, etc photos to put in his room.  Excellent!  Actually, I find it very fun to use my creativity.
I laid this whole thing out on the computer by taking pictures of each piece and putting them together in photo shop.  I wanted to make sure they'd look ok together since I have trouble matching colors.
I am too happy with it!  It's on our bed in these pics since without the sham it looks a little bare in the spare bedroom.
Appliques...so much fun!
Beep Beep!  Vrrroooooom!

Two Year Old Portrait Session

There were so many good shots of Cole that it was overwhelming.  I had to delete many pictures that I would have kept otherwise.
My two train enthusiasts.
Walking the ties.  There is no ballast, so it's a bit of a balance beam.
Look at my train, Mommy!
Airplanes!
Ride the rails, choo choos!

Look, there's Daddy!
A little spaced out, but I liked this picture.
All smiles for Daddy.
Kicking the steps...what a fun sound!
Silly boy!
Love this one!
The black and white with the steps is just really neat.
5 more minutes, and we are going!
