The Fort Myers pictures you haven't seen yet!

Grandma and Cole in the pool in their development.
Splashing in the water.
Playing with new Jeff Gordon pez dispenser car.
Talking on the make-believe cell phone that was a tag from a shirt I bought for Jonathan.  He even wiped it on his chest like we do when we finish talking on ours!
Playing cars with Grandpa.
Showing off doing pushups.
Talking on the phone again.  He's a teenager already!
Collecting Shells in Sanibel.
Cutie.
Collecting shells with Grandpa and Grandma.
Check these out, Mommy!
Investigating the shells.

Going out to dinner.
The restaurant we were going to go to.
Posing with Mommy yet again.
And again.
Throwing a dime into the fountain.
Checking out the lions.
Another fountain.

More Ft. Myers!

This is the bridge in Tampa Bay.  My Mother took this on the way to pick us up from the airport.  It is really scary to drive on and if you have a fear of heights I am not sure how you would ride over it.
Cole tried and liked ice cream the first night we were here.  It is the first time ever.
Getting ready to go to the Ft. Myers Beach the first day we were here when he hated the sand.
Cole prefers pools for swimming...couldn't agree with you more, son!
Grandpa and Grandma in the pool with Cole.
Eating at Five Guys Burgers and Fries.
I took Cole in to Stride Rite to check his shoe size since there was one right by Five Guys in Coconut Point and discovered that he is actually wearing shoes a full size too small for him.  They had a good deal, so I got him these.   It's a good thing, too, and see below for why!
My parents' living room in their condo.  Comfortable!
This is why the shoes were good, because we used the shoes he had outgrown to go to the beach.  He doesn't like sand on his feet, so we let him wear his shoes and socks.  He wouldn't let me put his trunks on, either, so he wore his Nike shorts.
He liked the waves.  It is nerve wracking being in the ocean with a toddler, though, hoping they don't get swept away.
In the "deep end":).
The causeway onto Sanibel Island.  That is where we went to the beach.
Cole and my Mom collected a lot of seashells.
Cole likes girls.  He points at them and notices them.  We may need to lock him in the closet already:).
I will probably put up pictuers from our good camera when I get home.  I am not sure how to get them onto one of my parents' computers.

The Beach: Ft. Myers and More

We took Cole to the beach and he HATED the sand.  It was not hot.  He didn't like it dry, wet, etc, or touching him.  It couldn't touch his shorts or anything.  So, he clung to me for dear life for about 20 minutes and we all decided it was pointless and came back to my parents' place.  It's nice here.  Humid as can be. Cole traveled well and has been very good sleeping so far!  The pictures with the cars are from home before we left.  We got him a few matchbox cars to make the journey more exciting (i.e. new toys so maybe he won't be as irritated at having to sit for hours) and he put all three of his corvettes together as soon as we came home from the store.  I was amazed at both that and his range of facial expressions.  The pic of him riding in the car is from DFW airport.  GREAT kids play area right next to our gate.  It was awesome!  He slept for an hour coming to Tampa so that was very helpful!
My parents' place is really nice, too, and I look forward to seeing more!
