Cousins

Cole and his little (2 months old) cousin.  Cole was so excited to hold him the last day we were there.  He held him for a little while and then wanted to be by him for the rest of the pictures.  The Patti Duke theme keeps going through my head and I don't even think they are identical...:).  I did a comparison of them both at two months just out of curiosity, though!

Phone pictures from Ohio

We just got back from a trip to see the grandparents. It was fun and now it is good to be home!!! I snapped a picture of Cole just before out first plane to Ohio, him eating Oreos at my parents, him with his new sunfish, outside Jonathan's parents' house, with the polar bear at the Columbus airport, and with the co-pilot on our flight from St. Louis home. The interesting thing about the copilot is that I posted it on our Facebook page and one of my friends (cole is best buds with her kids) saw it and said it was her mother's cousin!!! Small world! He asked Cole what he wanted to be when he grew up and he said "Fisherman". That is the first time he has answered that question. Then he told him he always fishes with someone else right now. The man let him press some buttons that made noises and have him a chocolate. He was so nice. We have never had a bad time flying southwest...

Windows have Begun!

The new "picture window". Cole said "Wow, it smells just like outside!" Why? Because this was when there was no window in place :).

 We have a beautiful tree in our back yard that I wanted to use as a backdrop for some images of Cole.  I love these two (top and bottom) and the middle one is cute and shows how pretty the tree is!  It is our first spring at this house, so we didn't know what to expect!  We have pink snow!

Kindergarten

This is part of unit one of my father's world. The tactile letter activity of writing in salt has been a huge hit!

Drawing skills

Cole has gotten so much better at cutting, drawing, and glueing since we started kindergarten it is pretty amazing. Here are his sting days and manta rays (bottom with the "horns"). Note that most of them have barbs on their tails. His people are so cute, too. I need to post them soon! But enjoy this! We sure are!

Back Porch Swing

I love having a back porch swing. I also love having a remote shutter for our camera! It allows me to take pictures like this. I actually think cole took this one!
