Cole Bear Crawls for Daddy

Cole has been showing off for Jonathan lately when he gets home from work. A few nights ago he did this bear crawl. The next night he walked like a penguin. I didn't get that on video yet, but he has fun doing these things, as you can tell. I have no idea where he came up with either of these types of transportation...funny guy!

14 Weeks and over 14 lbs!

I weighed Cole on our scale yesterday. He is definitely 14 lbs. We won't get another official weight until December. I was looking at my growth record and I only weighed about 12.5 lbs by the time I was 6 months old! I was 5 lbs 3 ozs when I was born, though, so Cole had over a pound and a half head start on me and he is a boy.

Doesn't it look like he is in an amusement park here? Looks like he is going down a water slide to me:).

He watches his hands and fingers a lot and sucks/chews his fist a lot. Actually, he just really found his thumb today (the above pic). We aren't discouraging it. If it soothes him (he doesn't need a whole lot anyway) we are fine with it. We cannot go back to he paci. He is starting to babble quite a bit. Here is a video clip of him reciting his vowels:).
