Playdate and Room Art

 This is Cole playing with his friend, Reese.  I was just so excited that he played so well with a little girl!  They had a blast!

 Whole wheat banana choc chip muffins aren't so bad, eh?

This is my reinterpretation of a similar print I saw on art.com (not using cars, but vehicles of another sort).  I decided to make my own picture using Cole's cars...cool, huh!?  This will be going in his room and I will likely make a few more of them! :)

Tulsa Zoo - MOPS Playdate

 I decided I am definitely going to embrace Cole's fake cheesy smile.  He has beautiful eyes and this makes them all cold, but the 3 year old cheesy smile is a part of their development and I wouldn't want to forget it!

Krispy Kreme MOPS Playdate

 Today we had a MOPS playdate and we took the kids on a tour through Krispy Kreme to see how donuts are made.  Jackson was ready to go!

 Waiting for the tour to start.  We had to wear the hats.  All of us.  Needless to say there are no pictures of us women...we probably wouldn't like that.

 Donuts just after being cooked in a vat of vegetable oil.  But just before going through the waterfall of icing (glaze)

 This impressed me.  I really thought they'd just let the kids have a glaze donut each, but they gave them glazed dipped in chocolate and let them decorate.  I thought that was kind of neat.

 The way Cole's mind works just completely fascinates me.  He is a problem solver.  Instead of decorating his donut he thought the purpose of the sprinkles was to get them in the donut hole.

 He only took about 3 bites.  I don't think he liked the chocolate which is weird because he loves chocolate, but that is what he told me...

Look at those eye lashes and eyes.  Amazing.

Bass Pro Shop and Christmas Party

We go to Bass Pro Shops every year (well for the past 2 anyway) and check out the toys.  After last year with Cole having a night terror after meeting Santa at the mall we decided to give him the option.  He watched the fish for a while.

We looked at all the toys.

His favorite were the slot cars.

Then he declined meeting Santa.  We were ok with that.  We didn't  need him waking up screaming like that again in the middle of the night.

That night we went to our Sunday School class Christmas Party.  It was a lot of fun.  We did a White Elephant exchange and came home with a 3 pack of golf balls, sand paper, and some used cans of spray paint.  It was fun and silly, though!:)

Cole played upstairs with the hostess's sister and after the few other kids were gone, he and Kolbi came down and played pictionary...well, we think that is what they were playing:).  It was a night of fun and fellowship with friends!  Such a fun time!

MOPS Christmas Playdate and Cole's 1st Making Sugar Cookies!

 The MOPS Christmas playdate was fun this year!  We ate and made ornaments.

 And looked so cute.

 And played ring around the rosey.  Yes, I have heard it is actually about the bubonic plague or something like that, but seriously, how else do you get this many preschool kids to do something in unison?

 And have SO MUCH FUN!

 We all fall down!!!

 The funny thing...a few of the older girls started this.  No parent initiated it!

 And then we start the game where we all run around and chase someone!

 Cole was so in!

 That night we made Christmas cookies...well, sugar cookies of vehicles with green and red sprinkles.  It almost counts!

 Cole loved helping.  He really did nearly everything.  He rolled dough.

 Picked out the cookie cutters.

 Laid them out (with help).

 Pushed them down (with help).

 And sprinkled (with no help, as you can see)!

100% whole wheat sugar cookies are delicious!  We loved them!
