How to get your son's hair from this hair...

and this hair.

To this spiffy hair...

This hair...

And this hair....
In a matter of hours.
Step 1: Decide that the small haircut you gave him last week was not enough.
Step 2: Take scissors and comb and chase your son around the upstairs trying to cut off pieces for an hour.
Step 3: After chasing and snipping, decide that the very nice haircut at this point needs some evening out in the back.
Step 4: Grab your clippers.
Step 5: Angle clippers too much so that your level 3 is actually at somewhere between 0 to 1.
Step 6: Start getting sickening feeling in your stomach.
Step 7: Try to blend the level 1ish into the long hair in the back hoping it won't be noticeable.
Step 8: Decide, wisely for once during these steps, that professional help is needed.
Step 9: Feed son lots of food for lunch.
Step 10: Put on dark sunglasses, a ballcap (for your), and a sun hat for your son so no one notices either of you or sees what you have done to your child's hair.
Step 11: Drive to get it fixed and realize that you will be taking him to get his hair barbered until he is old enough to sit still and be aware of what you are doing (even if he doesn't approve).
Step 12: Be really glad that your husband's hair is very very short and that he loves the new do on his boy... Yeesh.
Cole also switched to hard spouted sippy cup today (yes...no more silicone and him chucking it everywhere with leaking!).
He also went on the potty again today after I left him out of his diaper for an hour. At least it is getting him used to it!
He is close to pulling up....more of that soon most likely.
