I tend to post to Facebook now a lot more than here. It is just more convenient. If anyone still even reads this blog, leave a comment. As much as I like it better than facebook because it feels more liks a journal my time is limited with two and homeschooling and I won't even do the blog if it is not worth it. The boys are on a trip to Colorado. They are almost home, but I have been sent a few photos from Jonathan. This is the Golden Spike Tower/Bailey Yard in North Platte, NE. It is the largest train yard in the world, I believe. Jonathan, being a Union Pacific employee got discounted admission to the Golden Spike Tower (yay:).
Cole got a lego kit at the tower.
They went up Pike's Peak the next morning. It was sunny, but bitter cold/windy.
Somewhere in the wilderness!
Fall color.
Lunch in the wilderness.
This was somewhere up Pike's Peak.
Dinner last night at Old Chicago pizza.
They saw bighorn sheep so Cole wanted to commemorate that with a special souvenir.
Meanwhile....button madness.
Yogurt madness.
Mowing madness (in brother's shirt).
Star Wars madness.
Before they left the kids were both sitting and looking at/reading books. I thought it was so cute I needed a photo.
Last weekend princess Katie was pushed by her brother in the stroller Saturday morning.
Then she decided to mow.
Since Cole has been gone I have realized how much he helps with her. Now, she wasn't going to be allowed to leave the house in PJs, but she wanted to and he obliged.
