The Ohio Trip Part 3

We went to a children's museum called Aha! in Lancaster, Ohio.  Cole loved the water table.

Once he found the trains it was all over.  He loved them and carried them everywhere.  He had a major meltdown when we had to put them back as we were leaving.

20 Months!

Funny boy.  He turned 20 months today.  It is so hard to believe.  I know it is a cliche, but it is so true.  He's growing up so fast.

Cole loves to dance and I think he even sings sometimes.  He loves music, birds, dogs, trucks, reading, balls, and being outside.  He has one more tooth to cut before those 2 year molars come in.  He is such a joy.  He is such a wonderful gift.

The Ohio Trip Part 2

I wish I could take credit for these first 3 pictures, but I cannot.  Kim took these.  She is the one who did all of Cole's 1st birthday pictures.  I love her photos!

Checking out the dog last Sunday.  Cole was loving the dogs, but he never got too close to them and I was glad for that (the older one does not like kids).  Uncle Chris took him outside and I actually got to talk with some people.  We just had a family only gathering and it was nice and manageable.  Sometimes when they are bigger I feel like I say hi to everyone and talk to no one and Cole makes it more difficult since I have one eye on him and am always excusing myself to see what he is into.

My Mom is famous for making goofy faces in pictures (and not trying to).  I loved this pic...no goofy face;).

This recliner is heated and has a massager.  Cole didn't even try to get up during Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...even when his cup was empty.

We got in the Jacuzzi tub and poured some bubble bath in.  I thought Cole would think it was more fun, but maybe when he is older he will.  I just loved his expression here.

I never get pictures of me with anyone (or any pictures of me period) so I had Kim use my point and shoot and take this one with my Aunt Gloria.

The Trip Part 1

We (only Cole and I) went to Ohio last week to visit all of the grandparents, uncles, and aunts.  It was beautiful last Friday outside!  Cole got a ball from my parents and he was happy to put it to work.  Cole was very into the dogs, the Mickey Mouse collection, and a clock that plays music at my parents house.  He especially loved the clock that played music and frequently requested it be played for him.  He danced and everyone thought that was hilarious, of course.

It is funny to go through the 20 or so pictures I took in quick succession because you can see how my mom chased him all around their yard...they have about an acre of property and he walked a lot of it.

We were seated at a really loud table, so we asked to be reseated.  Now, we had to wait a while to get our next table, so Chris and I tried to keep Cole entertained while my parents chit-chatted with their good friends.  First we tried M&Ms.  Cole would be referred to as the "chocolate monster" in this picture.  Uncle Chris made it up and it made Cole laugh.

Then we took Cole out by the train tracks next to the restaurant and the bicycle shop.

Cole ate a bunch of pizza.

Cole loved all of the Mickey Mouses that belong to Grandma.  Here is the phone.  I think he broke it...sorry, Mom!
