Thanksgiving 2010: Uncle Matthew and Aunt Krista Visit

Uncle Matthew (Jonathan's brother) reading to Cole before bed.  "What Can You Do With 10 Black Dots?"
 Watching Thanksgiving Football!
I didn't take a lot of pictures and I didn't take any of the spread, but we had lots and lots of good food.  Then we made sure to get outside and take a picture for Grandma as requested.  Our clothing colors were not planned, but they coordinated quite well!
We introduced Uncle Matthew, Aunt Krista, and Stanley (stuffed bear) to Charlie and Lola.  They also loved the show.

Friday Uncle Matthew and Aunt Krista picked up their new addition from Sand Springs, OK.  His name is Rusty.  He seems to be a pretty well behaved dog for his age and he is cute.  He is a labradoodle.
 Meet Rusty.
Their family.

Oklahoma City

We visited some friends in OKC on Tuesday.  I wanted to get Cole's 2 year old pic in their nice, shady, tree-filled back yard. I only need two minutes coopertion to accomplish this task.  Did I get it?  No.  Here's the best one...
Zoned out coming down the steps.
Trying to get the dog to eat a rock.
Experimenting by throwing things into the pool and seeing if they float or sink.
Zoned out looking at the pool.
Well, I am going to try again tomorrow morning depending on the weather.  I think I almost need someone else to help corral him!
It was a nice visit with Diana and Candice Wood.  We swam, had lunch, and then Cole and I headed to my old place of employment, Fife.  All together it was a fun day and Cole was actually very pleasant in the evening which was really wonderful since for about the last month and a half he's been very cranky.
