Happy Birthday, Cole!

I cannot believe we have been parents for 6 years! It is what I always wanted to be. Thankful to be a mother of two now, but I will cherish those nearly 6 years of being this boy's mother just as much. Cole, you are bright, creative, persistent, funny, and happy. You sing and chatter all day long! I know someday I will miss the noise and wish you were here and little and chattering again...*sniff*. Daddy and I love you more than you will ever know or realize...perhaps until you become a parent. This year is going to be a great year of watching you grow into a big boy. We love you and hope you have a wonderful birthday!!! Complete with gulper eel/viperfish decorated cake!

 Daddy and Cole had an outing at the aquarium last Saturday.  They both had a great time!

What Little Boys Are Made Of and Katie is 4 months old!

 We played at a park today.  Cole enjoyed splashing. and finding creepy crawlies...of course!

 Oh, and playing with sticks with his friends.

Katie turned 4 months old today.  She is a sweet little girl!  Right now she catnaps a lot and sleeps well at night.  Some nights she sleeps 7pm-7am.  Those are NICE!  She is grabbing things and putting them in her mouth, she started rolling this past week (not consistently, but she CAN so watch out)!  She had three days this week where she was very fussy, but generally she is not fussy at all.  She tells stories to herself and us in baby language.  She watches EVERY single move Cole makes and watches us all a lot.  She is a joy and we love her to bits!  Cole even hates when it is naptime for her!

It is super easy for me to post these on Facebook with my phone but tougher on the blog so occasionally I forget.

Katie slept through the night for two nights and made it until 5 last night.  She is doing a lot better!

Cole has wanted to play "store" more lately and wants to wear his great grandfathers hat while doing so.

Katie did a lot of new things the past few days.  Laughing was one and grabbing for objects and touching them is another.  We had a belly laugh two days ago, but I didn't get it on video (who knew she'd laugh?).  But, this is a very shortened version of her sweet chuckle.
