22 Weeks!

I was just sitting up but I tipped over.
See, I can do it!
Starting to tip.

22 Weeks. I did an unconventional shoot today. It was kind of fun and Cole seemed to enjoy it, too:).

5 Months!!! What happened to the past month?

Funny Smile. I love his dimples. I learned what the term "I could just eat you up" meant when he was smiling and snuggly the other day.
I changed back drops. I like this one. You can't tell here, but he is "sitting up" and his back is not propped against the couch.

He is very pleased with himself at not sitting with his back against the couch.
He should be sitting up really well soon. He doesn't tip too much anymore!
Back not against the couch.
It seems like yesterday I was taking pictures for his 4 month shoot. I cannot believe how fast the last month went. It seemed when he was younger and a lot more cranky that time crawled and now I want it to put on the brakes!!!

The Forte's Visit

Here we all are on Sunday morning after church. Cole was very tired by then, so this was a pretty good shot considering. Grandma Tyler, Me, Cole, Jonathan, Mom, and Dad.
This was Christmas Eve (these are all out of order). I love this picture of Cole! I was all disappointed with the pictures I took with the other camera and I had forgotten I had taken these!
4 generations of Tylers: Jonathan, Granny, Cole, and Mom.
Big smiles for Grandma.
Grandma, Cole, and Pop-pop! Look at the grin on that boy!
His "errands" hat. He is so snuggly now!
Standing up on Pop-pop's lap.
Sleepy Eyes.
Playing dominoes. We played several games...it was very fun! I love playing games!
More dominoes. Note that neither grandparent is paying attention to their dominoes.
Cole in the sweater that Granny (holding him) knitted him.
Cole on Christmas Day playing with his new "car". It is obnoxious, but he has instinctively put his hands up on the gear shift and steering wheel. I think we have a driver on our hands.
Cheeky grin!
More car toy.
Sweet potatoes are yummy!

Cole and Pop-pop after he opened his dump truck and train toys.

Obligatory Christmas Post

Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve and today! Merry Christmas!
Last night before Christmas lights cruising.
Yesterday afternoon out in the back yard.
With Mommy in the back yard.
Merry Christmas!!! (He's about a month older than these pictures)
Snuggling with Daddy this morning...poor tired guy.
Such a funny look! Mommy is looking haggard, but he was too cute not to post this! The face kind of reminds me of Ralphie from Christmas Story for some reason.
Wrapping paper or presents?.....Wrapping Paper!

He has already started playing with the Vtech car that Grandpa and Grandma Salerno got him, which is pretty cool. Cole is getting so fun!

The Good News...

I weighed Cole at a new doctor's office and the scale tipped at 16 lbs 12 ozs. We knew that stupid pediatrician office scale was wrong!!! We decided to bump him up in diaper sizes this weekend because the thing was tough to fit properly to his expanding little body, and in good timing, too, since he is over 16 lbs.

Amazing!

2 Days old.
Almost a month old.
A little under 5 months old!
God is amazing. I was telling Cole yesterday how I was so excited every week when I read about how big he was in the womb and when he started getting bigger than olives and grapes I started getting so excited for his growth. Well, now he is bigger than many bunches of grapes. I looked at these pics and I couldn't believe he had been so small or how fast he grew. Like I said, he looks perfect to us...
The shoulder straps have been moved up a notch, too. Look at his head with reference to the warning thing on the left side of the car seat. Now I believe he is over 26 inches. I still don't believe he weighs as little as they said, though.

Bath Time!

All clean and dressed.
Drying off.
Clean and splashing. He has also figured out that you smile for cameras. Look at those chunky thighs! I don't want to hear about him being in the 20th percentile for weight. He looks perfect.
Before the bath.
Diaper messes can be fun, I suppose, if you are the one who gets to get all cleaned up and splash in the water:). He has learned to splash with his feet, but he still hasn't figured out his hands can do it, too.
