Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons were the past two weeks.  VBS was the past week.  I have not even gotten to look at the pictures I took a month ago in Ohio because of all the craziness between selling our house, our house flooding, etc, etc, etc.  So, hopefully I will actually get to post some Ohio pictures before we go there again in August.  With closing coming up in less than a month, though, I am not sure what will happen.  But, I guess I will stay current as I can.

Cole went from hanging on to me for dear life in a pool to swimming with a pool noodle wrapped under his armpits for the length of the pool.  The girl in the pictures teaching him (who was absolutely awesome...but was only there for the first 2 days) actually teaches with her mother in private lessons and Cole is signed up to start those on July 31st.  So, hopefully he will be at least going under if not swimming some without the noodle.  We shall see!

Puddle Jumper

We went outside yesterday to enjoy the cool cloudy weather.  It had rained so once Cole rode his bicycle for a while and discovered that he had the option  to jump in puddles he went for it!  I love having a little boy! He had to walk home with socks on...his boots were far too wet!

Cole this week during swim lessons.  Day 2 is over and he is doing fantastic!  We couldn't be prouder of his bravery and ability to obey his teacher.

Impromptu Portrait

This is handsome sweet boy yesterday at church as I was checking camera settings and lighting for a quick head shot I did for my friend's husband.  The past two weeks we were in Ohio, so those pictures coming soon!
