I have done a lot of posting on facebook as of late. I like the blog for a lot of reasons, but it is not as convenient.
Katie has been doing more blabbering lately. She hadn't had many real words, but mostly phrases. "I did it" and "I want that."
Within the last week or so she has REALLY shown she understands more of what I say and she uses more sounds in context. "Es" is one she says to mean she wants something. We think it comes from "Yes". Tonight, though, after we have been apart from Daddy for over a week she saw him and she started shouting and squealing "Da-da", "Da-da"! While he has been gone around 4-5 every day she hears a sound outside and says Da-da? Several times every evening. She is making a lot of developmental headway!
