Two and a Half Little Man!

I think I may frame this.  Yes, he is holding "soaps" or Bath and Body Works AntiBac hand gel, but he loves it and that is what he loves right now:).

Growth Spurts

Cole must be having a growth spurt.  Today he ate two PB&Js for lunch
and this entire HUGE plate of spaghetti for dinner.  Then he announced he was hungry at 7pm.  What???  Lately he has gotten more finicky about eating if anything.  This was crazy.  Just thought I would take a picture to commemorate this momentous food intake!

Happy Valentine's Day!

From the other day.  Those are some big shoes to fill, my man!

 Valentine's Breakfast.
 Cole LOVES letters!

 This face cracked me up.

Note that Rahr (Roar the bear, but it is pronounces Rahr) is tucked into the chair.
At the place I work on Mondays.

Snow Day Fun!

We have done, coloring in, a color and shape workbook, painting, play dough, pretty much everything you can think of during this 10 day stretch of not leaving the house (except for the whole day yesterday which was our only opportunity with the roads how they are).
I love how now Cole is putting order to his trains and always has an engine at the front and possibly a caboose at the back (he has ones that aren't really cabooses, but he calls them that).

He is so focused.  This one shows Toby in the front, a "fway taw" (freight car), and then a "boose".
Today we made a little obstacle course.  I put his tunnel on top after this but didn't get good shots of it.  He had fun.
Then we had some pizza goldfish and did a bunch of other things (coloring, etc).

Two things I have been up to

As nearly all of this blogs readers know I started a business doing family photography last fall.  I have begun to do some newborn shoots and I love so many of the hats that are crocheted for these shoots.  I vowed I would learn to crochet (or relearn what my Gramma taught me).
I learned by watching youtube videos.  I couldn't want to try out my skills.  The first hat I made was an earflap hat for a newborn.  I made monkey ears for it.  Then, I made a bear earflap hat and as I was halfway through that I decided to make a lumberjack/aviator/bomber style hat for a newborn.
Then I made this owl hat for Cole.  He will probably never even wear it!  Oh well, it was fun to make.  I had to bribe him to wear it here.
But at least my newborn client/subject is pleased:).  Check out my website in the next few days and I will be posting the rest of his shoot.  It was so fun www.candicefortephotography.com.

Snow Play

We haven't really played in the snow at all due to Cole and I both being very sick.  But, we did get out a little today and walked around the block.  Only in time for it to snow some more!
Cole let me put gloves on him immediately upon going out in the cold.  No more messing around.
His favorite thing was walking down the snow-packed road and telling me that all the tires prints were "choo choo" tracks.
I really think he is going to be a great hiker.  He already just loves going outside and walking.  Even in Ohio he was more interested in walking through the woods than going on the big playground equipment.

It's done snowing!

This is after the first shoveling Jonathan had done this morning in the blizzard.

Our back fence now is only 4 feet:).
Second time being shoveled out.

Let it Snow!

A few shots of the snow so far.  More to come!
Jonathan behind the snow drift.  Don't let the drift fool you, it's deep out there aside from the drift!
