Wanting to Crawl and Going to the Zoo

 She is desperately trying to crawl and gets frustrated very quickly....

6 Months Continued

 

The rest of Katie's 6 month portraits.  The tutu I made before she was born for her.  The necklace (I am not a huge fan of necklaces on babies except formal portraits) was given to me by my uncle who passed away in the 80s.  It is made from freshwater pearls.  Her blue dress is a hand me down from some very dear friends whose daughter, Kate, wore it.

Katie has been teething hard.  Hoping these chicklets pop through soon.  I had to put her in a carrier yesterday to keep her from fussing.

She will smile for her brother though and he even puts plastic ice cream cup hats on her head!

6 Months!

This sweet thing is 6 months old today!  Very hard to believe.  It has both flown and taken forever.  At six months she has beautiful blue eyes, light blonde hair (still looks bald in photos even though it is 3-4 inches long on top) she sits well, she is longing to crawl and move, she jabbers all the time, has figured out how to squeal, and she has two teeth.  Will take more pics with the real camera this afternoon but formal portraits coming soon:).

Soccer: Game 2

The Roughnecks lost again, but those little guys have some heart!  Cole improved in that he has gotten over just staring, completely overwhelmed, by the action.
